Jorjana Marx, JD

Attorney at law

Jorjana is our partner that everyone loves.

As a founding member of Oklahoma Senior Law she brings more than 18 years of experience counseling clients on legal matters.  Prior to working in elder law and estate planning, she worked in family law, general litigation and corporate matters in Seattle, Washington.  She also volunteered her time and legal expertise to the local senior center and multiple organizations serving community members in crisis.

Jorjana is a native Tulsan, attending Edison Middle and High Schools before graduating from Booker T. Washington.  She is a citizen of the Cherokee Nation and her indigenous roots extend to two Trail of Tears survivors who settled near Oaks, Oklahoma.  She is also a descendant of French Canadian Potawatomi fur traders and tribal chiefs from the Chicago-area.  After working in Seattle for many years, she returned to Tulsa introducing her young son and husband to really hot summers, Porter peaches and the Tulsa State Fair.

Jorjana is well regarded and valued in the community as a kind and helpful resource on Medicaid planning and Veterans pension planning.  She is often asked to speak throughout Tulsa and the surrounding communities to groups who want to learn about the legal considerations of aging, including Medicaid, wills and trusts or the growing costs of senior living.  She is always ready to offer her unique perspective or simply lend an ear.
